Short version: the calculator runs entirely in your browser. We do not receive, store, or process any of your inputs. Nothing you type or select is ever sent to our servers.

This Privacy Policy explains how Delusion Calculator ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you visit delusioncalculator.click. We are committed to being transparent about our minimal data practices.

2 Data We Collect

We collect a very limited set of non-personal, aggregate data through our analytics provider (Plausible Analytics). This includes:

  • Page URL visited
  • Referrer (the site that linked to us)

  • Country of visit (derived from IP address — IP itself is not stored)
  • Screen size (used for responsive design analytics)

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

3 Calculator Inputs

All calculations — including your age, height, income, ethnicity, and lifestyle preferences — are processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. These values:

  • Are never transmitted to our servers
  • Are never stored in a database
  • Are never shared with any third party
  • Disappear as soon as you close or refresh the tab

The demographic data used for calculations comes from publicly available U.S. government datasets (U.S. Census Bureau, CDC, IRS) that are baked into the page's JavaScript — your inputs are compared against these tables locally, not remotely.

4 Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across sites or devices. Plausible is GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant by design.

Plausible aggregates page view data at a site level only — it cannot identify you as an individual. You can learn more at plausible.io/privacy.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics for performance monitoring. Cloudflare similarly does not fingerprint users or use tracking cookies. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy for details.

5 Cookies

This site uses no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, and no cross-site cookies. The only cookie-adjacent storage used is:

  • Plausible Analytics — cookieless by design; uses no cookies
  • Cloudflare — may set a functional __cf_bm cookie for bot protection; this contains no personally identifiable information

7 Your Rights

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, most data subject rights (access, rectification, deletion) are automatically satisfied — there is nothing to access, correct, or delete.
